Here’s What Riverview Counseling Services, Ltd. Groups Can Do For You: 

Our social groups help kids learn the skills they need to navigate their world and improve relationships with others.  We offer multiple groups to accommodate a range of ages and a variety of needs. These groups are conducted by licensed clinical social workers and counselors and are capped at 6 children per group for more personalized attention.  All groups are on-going throughout the year, so join anytime!

Kid Time!

Ages: Boys Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
Day/Time: Saturday @ 12:00-12:45 pm

This supportive and skill-building group helps kids develop friendship basics and cooperative group participation.

Girl Power Group

Ages: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade Girls
Day/Time: Thursdays @ 6:00-6:45 pm
Ages:  3rd – 5th Grade Girls
Day/Time: Mondays @ 4:30-5:15 pm

Join us for a girls-only, girls-rule social skills group focusing on the good parts and tough parts of making and keeping friends.

Club Connect

Ages: Boys 3rd – 5th Grade
Day/Time: Tuesdays @ 6:00-6:45 pm

A social learning group for 3rd to 5th graders that teaches how to meet new friends, how to read the non-verbal “cues” of others, how to be a good friend and much more.

Lean on Me

Ages: Middle School Girls
Day/Time: Mondays @ 6:00-6:45 pm

A friendship skills group for middle school girls that promotes appreciation of individual differences, explores carious ways of getting to know one another, helps enhance relationships with peers and grow and foster social supports.

Mandala Group

Ages: Middle School Boys
Day/Time: Mondays @ 7:00-7:45 pm

For boys only, this skill building group highlights necessary social know-how to promote success and competence in the middle school environment.
