Sarah earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and also holds certification as a Dialectical Behavior Therapist. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, Illinois Counseling Association and Illinois Mental Health Counseling Association.

In the past, Sarah has worked in various settings such as a community mental health center and behavioral health hospital. Professional experiences include crisis intervention, individual, family and group therapy with children, adolescents and adults. Sarah specializes in anxiety and mood disorders and encourages and collaborative approach between the client, family and other providers. In order to meet the needs of clients, Sarah will incorporate play and creative interventions along with other evidenced-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
