Holly is a Licensed Clinical Social worker. Holly obtained her master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University with an emphasis on adolescents and School Social Work. Holly has several years’ experience in working with children, adolescents and their families in mental health and substance abuse issues. She believes everyone has a responsibility for the social, emotional and academic development of our children. The school must build a foundation that promotes emotional health and respond proactively and positively to student’s emotional and social development. She has the experience in working with adolescents, families, and the school staff in developing strategies to motive the student and suggest interventions to meet the emotional needs.
Holly specializes in adolescents age 7-21 in the areas of anxiety, depression, school refusal, ADHD, self-injury, suicidal ideation, delinquent teen, truancy, self-esteem, and behavioral issues. Holly also has experience working in family therapy that focuses on the entire family coming together to improve their communication, respect and support for each other. Holly believes that her job is too quickly and accurately assess the needs of her client, develop and execute a course of treatment and assist her client into becoming a healthier person.
