Matthew is a Licensed Social Worker in Illinois. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University and his Master’s in Social Work from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Matthew has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a wide range of difficulties including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, psychosis, ADHD, and emotion dysregulation.

Matthew utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from various theories and techniques. At the core, he recognizes the therapeutic alliance as the vessel in which therapy occurs and strives to build a relationship with clients and their parents in which they feel safe and validated. Through that therapeutic relationship, clients can explore their struggles, recognize their strengths, and develop unique solutions that work for them. Matthew relies heavily on clients’ strengths and interests to identify and develop interventions that will be both relevant and engaging.
