Heather is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She earned her master’s degree in Counseling from Argosy University. Heather has experience as a therapist in residential treatment for children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral disorders, therapeutic day schools, and as a crisis therapist. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is an important part of therapy and the foundation for change. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy in order to assist her clients in making positive changes in their lives. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, mood disorders, self injury, trauma, and ADHD.
