Samantha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Dominican University. She then went on to receive her Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University.
Samantha has experience in various settings such as a behavioral health hospital, in both partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Samantha specializes in working with adolescents and adults. Her interests lie in eating disorders, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, self-injury, and depression, among others. Samantha often uses evidenced-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Client Centered approaches while working with individuals to support their personal needs.
Samantha values the importance of building a strong and trustworthy therapeutic relationship. She will collaborate with other resources, if requested, to ensure successful treatment.
