LaTorshia James is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). She received her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She also graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and minor in Addiction Studies (specializing in substance abuse).
LaTorshia has substantial experience working with a vast range of clients from different demographics, assisting clients with a wide range of therapeutic needs. She has completed extensive training throughout various agencies, hospitals, and non-profit organizations. She has experience in providing services in individual, couples, and family settings.
LaTorshia believes that each individual holds the key to their own healing, and she is happy to assist anyone on the journey to find their inner strength to achieve this. She uses a person-centered approach with each individual that offers a unique space for personal therapeutic growth as well as therapeutic processing.
LaTorshia specializes in trauma therapy, crisis intervention, depression, anxiety, LGBTTQQIAAP counseling, and mood disorders.
