Natalie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and also holds a Type 73 Professional Educator License.  She has six years of experience as an Elementary School Social Worker for Kaneland District #302, specializing in emotional regulation, behavior intervention strategies, and social skills training.  She has encountered a wide array of disorders and has experience with autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, mood/depressive disorders, conduct disorders, and intellectual/learning disabilities.

Before working in the school setting, Natalie provided case management/counseling services with adults (ages 18-75) in a nursing home for adults primarily diagnosed with depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders.  She also has experience working in a Partial Hospitalization Program for adults.
In her clinical work, Natalie specializes in children (3+) through young adults.  She has an approachable and playful nature that helps to build a strong therapeutic relationship.  She uses an integrated therapeutic approach to meet the needs of the individual and family.  CBT, DBT, play therapy, creative interventions, and bibliotherapy are utilized in sessions.  Natalie values working with the family as a whole and offers ongoing parenting education and behavioral support.

On a personal note, Natalie loves spending time with her two cats and taking her labradoodle for hikes and adventures.  She enjoys reading, crafting, trying new cuisines, singing, and teaching herself the guitar and piano.
