“Are you feeling stuck? Are you finding yourself at a point in your life where decisions seem more complicated? Maybe life is proving to be more challenging than ever before. Maybe you are getting frustrated with yourself. You may feel misunderstood by your family and/or friends. As your therapist, I want to get to know you as an individual, build upon your strengths and walk this journey with you. I will meet you where you are at with empathy. I would like to teach you how to be patient with yourself, giving yourself some grace, so that we may take that first step forward. I will provide you with skills to manage difficult emotions and improve connection with others.”
I use a variety of treatment modalities based on your individual needs. I have received extensive training in CBT, DBT, ACT, as well as other evidence based practices. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children, reading good psychological thrillers and playing with our dog Garnet, a bird, Squashy and our family guinea pig, Pig-Pig.
