Nadine is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Northern Illinois University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL.

Nadine completed clinical training with both adults and children in individual & group settings. She has experience at a community Children’s Advocacy Center with children who present with trauma and abuse. Nadine also worked at a behavioral health hospital, specializing in evidence-based CBT interventions with individuals diagnosed with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and OCD.

Nadine is committed to providing a safe and supportive space for both children & their families and emphasizes the use of play therapy as a mode of expression and interaction. She also integrates the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to help teach individuals tools they can apply to their own lives. Nadine is passionate about developing long lasting relationships with her clients and focuses on validating emotions and creating healthy and effective communication. She believes in the importance of the parent-child interaction patterns and works with the family to enhance communication by utilizing the unique strengths of each individual. Nadine enjoys working with adolescents, teens, and adults and applies a holistic, client-centered approach to each session. Her clinical interests cover a range of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment disorder, mood disorders, trauma, and more.
