Natalie holds an MSW (Master of Social Work) from Aurora University, with a School Social Work Endorsement (Pre-K-12), and Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University Chicago (Professional Educator License in Elementary Education ages K-9).

Natalie currently works with children and families as the Education / Social Work Manager and at Changing Children’s Worlds Foundation. Natalie uses a strengths- and empathy-based approach to assist families in developing skills in the areas of social-emotional communication, comprehension (teaching our children using developmentally appropriate strategies), and self-regulation (self-control, boundary setting, and consequences). In her current role, Natalie uses a psychosocial approach to strengthen caregiver-child relationships. She also works with clients one-on-one to help them create and work toward their individual goals in order to achieve their full potential.

Prior to her career in social work, Natalie was an Elementary School Teacher for five years, and worked with a diverse population of children and age groups. In her current role, Natalie works with all families, including those who are court-involved, child welfare clients, families within the school systems, as well as families in the mental health and community-based settings.
