Haidyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). She received her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE. She then earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Rehabilitation Counseling from Adler University in Chicago, IL. During her studies, Haidyn volunteered at different equine therapy facilities, and interned at a local crisis center as an economic case manager.

Prior to Riverview, Haidyn worked as a school therapist, at a therapeutic day school, where she incorporated a variety of therapeutic interventions for students (ages 3-18) to address their social-emotional needs. Within this setting, Haidyn provided individual, group, and integrated services in accordance with her student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).  Haidyn also has a background in private practice, working with individuals and co-leading a variety of social skills groups! 

Haidyn strives to bring empathy, insight, and enthusiasm into session. Her focus in session reflects on how she can support and empower her client to develop positive relations, navigate the world of emotions, build on positive coping skills, and feel validated along the way.
