Angelina earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from DePaul University and Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Child Welfare from Aurora University.
She has worked with children and families for many years in different capacities. First starting work in a preschool setting, where she discovered her love for early childhood education and went on to provide children and parents in the school districts preschool program additional educational and developmental support. She has also worked as a home visitor and group facilitator for teen parents. Assisted with the supervision of a head start home visitation program. She has gained experience in the child welfare system and has worked in private adoptions and currently is work in permanency, working with children and families in foster care.

“I have experience with working with children struggling with emotional dysregulation, anxiety, defiant behaviors, social issues, and depression. I have also worked with parents to assist with parent coaching, focusing on the child’s developmental needs, family strength, and modification of behavior.”
