Telehealth Services

While Riverview Counseling Services believes that in-person therapy is the best delivery model for clinical care, we understand that life circumstances and family needs do not always allow for this approach.

Busy lifestyles, struggles with childcare, concerns about covid, or even distance shouldn’t prevent you for accessing the quality mental health support you and your family deserve.  As an effective alternative, our telehealth option offers individual, family, and couples counseling from the comfort of your own home via our secure video conference portal.  At the click of a button, you are connected to your therapist.  If you would like more information about our telehealth services or would like to schedule with our telehealth therapist, please call 630-587-3777 ext 102.

Do I qualify for telehealth*?

In an effort to provide quality emotional and mental health services to families facing obstacles to therapy, Riverview offers Telehealth Counseling to the following clients who qualify:

  • Temporary emergency situations – Clients who can no longer attend in-clinic sessions due to a temporary emergency such as transportation or physical injury
  • Temporary travel – Clients who are temporarily traveling within the state of Illinois
  • Special needs caretaker – Clients who are caring for at least one child with special needs (physical, developmental, or emotional)
  • Transportation hardship – Clients who are unable to attend in-clinic sessions due to hardship with transportation, time, or childcare (single parent, working parent, and/or parent with limited resources)
