Colleen Cooper is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois and a Nationally Certified Counselor. Colleen received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in the Twin Cities. Colleen comes from community mental health, providing in-home therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families.
Colleen has years of experience providing mobile crisis response to at-risk and low-income youth in need of immediate intervention and possible psychiatric hospitalization. She has clinical experience working with children and families through intensive in-home services, outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings. Colleen believes the parent is the expert of their own child and the therapeutic process is one of lateral partnership designed to achieve their unique goals.
