Dr. Daphne Sandouka is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. She earned her Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Northern Illinois University and has dedicated her career to supporting individuals across the lifespan in achieving greater emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth.

Throughout her career, Dr. Sandouka has worked in community mental health, private practice, employee assistance programs, and higher education. Her experience includes helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, behavioral challenges, and stress-related issues. As a bilingual clinician, she has extensive experience working with culturally diverse individuals and families.

Dr. Sandouka’s approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and strengths based. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems approaches, trauma-informed practices, and play therapy techniques to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. As a bilingual clinician, she is committed to providing culturally responsive care that honors the values, experiences, and strengths each individual and family brings to the therapeutic relationship. She believes that healing and growth occur within a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and compassion.

She works collaboratively with clients to identify strengths, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful, lasting change. Her goal is to provide a supportive space where individuals feel understood, empowered, and hopeful as they work toward living healthier and more fulfilling lives.
