Darley is bilingual (English-Spanish) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from La Sabana University in Bogota, Colombia. He received his Master’s degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, where he graduated as a member of Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology.
Darley has had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents and adults from a variety of cultural backgrounds providing individual, and family counseling. He has worked at crisis intervention units, residential treatment centers, day programs for people with severe mental illness, and has done most of his work in outpatient therapy centers. He had the opportunity to become the Director of Outpatient Therapy of one of these centers where he supervised a group of therapists.
Darley loves working with people who live with anxiety. He has a specialization in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders from the University of Leon in Spain. In addition to this, he has a lot of experience helping children and adolescents with behavior problems. He has worked extensively with parents in order to help them create structure and discipline to improve family life and children and parent relationships.
