Erin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois and received her Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University. Erin currently also works in community mental health and manages a 24/7 Crisis Program. Prior to working at Riverview, Erin worked as a Mental Health Juvenile Justice Clinician doing work with youth involved in the criminal justice system and as a Sexual Assault Medical and Legal Advocate.
Erin has experience working with children, adolescents and young adults. Through her experience as an Advocate, she also worked with adults. Erin has worked with those who are experiencing suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, trauma, truancy and more. Erin brings her authentic self to session and always meets clients where they are at. Erin believes taking time to build rapport and gain trust is a key factor in treatment. Finally, Erin believes that parents and clients are the experts of their own lives and that listening to their needs creates a better therapeutic atmosphere and helps achieve goals!
