Joanna Farley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Joanna received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Olivet Nazarene University and her Master’s of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago.

Joanna has several years of experience working with children ages 3-18 and their families providing therapy and supporting families as they navigate various challenges. Specific areas that Joanna has experience in are: trauma, adoption, grief and loss, anxiety, parenting, and child welfare. Because of the important role attachment and family relationships play in the life of children, Joanna is passionate about working with parents and involving parents in the therapeutic process so they can learn how to best support their children.

Joanna utilizes her Level 1 Theraplay training, ARC (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency), Motivational Interviewing, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in her work with children and families. Additionally, Joanna approaches treatment from a family systems and strengths-based perspective as she believes it is important to focus on the family as a whole as well as the strengths that client possesses in order to support clients and families as they work toward growth and healing. Joanna is passionate about supporting families in strengthening their relationships as they navigate the ups and downs of life together.
