Kendra received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development & Family Sciences: Family Social Services from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL. Kendra completed her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northern Illinois University as well.
In addition to being a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, Kendra is a certified facilitator for Prepare and Enrich. Kendra has completed levels 1 and 2 trainings for the Gottman approach. Kendra’s approach to therapy utilizes aspects of Bowen Family Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, and Structural Family Therapy. Kendra believes that family of origin experiences greatly impact an individual and their relationships. Above all else, Kendra strives for a safe, collaborative, and judgment free therapeutic experience.
Kendra states:
