Lindy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Lindy has 10 years of experience working in the community as a mental health therapist. Her experience includes working in hospitals, inpatient mental health facilities, and providing crisis stabilization services to children and adolescents within the community. Lindy has worked with children, adolescents, and adults. She earned a Master of Arts degree from Hofstra university in New York.
Lindy believes each person and situation is unique, and she creates a personalized treatment plan for each client and their family.

Lindy specializes in assisting client and their families in working through a variety of concerns including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, parenting skills, social skills, relationship issues, and trauma. Lindy’s goal is to utilize a collaborative approach with clients to explore personal issues and disruptive patterns in their life, and provide positive practices towards coping, self-care, positive communication, and personal growth. To achieve these goals, Lindy utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Approach, Mindfulness Techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
