Margot Wagner is a Licensed Social Worker. Margot received her Masters of Social Work with a specialization in school social work from Aurora University and has her Bachelor of Arts in Human Social Services from Wisconsin Lutheran College. Margot previously worked as an elementary school social worker for Plainfield School District #202. She maintains a Professional Educator License, formerly known as a Type 73 School Social Work Certificate from the Illinois State Board of Education.

Margot has experience working with preschool through high school aged individuals in the homeless youth, after school program, youth empowerment, and school setting. Her experience working with children and adolescents include those struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, adoption issues, social skills, or the acceptance of a disability. Margot has a history of helping children and families navigate both the special and regular education systems and resources within schools. She often uses CBT, mindfulness, music therapy and play therapy in her therapeutic interventions with children and adolescents. Margot is passionate about helping individuals accept and embrace the person they are, teaching them to not let a diagnosis define them, and empowering them to find their voice and exceed expectations.

On a personal note, Margot has a puppy named Bentley, an older brother, and wonderful parents whom she loves dearly. In her spare time, Margot loves to create memories with family and friends, travel, go shopping, exercising, photography, and is an absolute foodie. Growing up Margot was a competitive dancer, violinist, and wanted to be a fashion designer when she grew up. Margot loves to smile, laugh, and enjoy life!
