Marla received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2010 and has been treating clients from a large variety of backgrounds and various populations since. Her experience includes psychotherapist for the past 3 1/2 years at a community mental health agency, providing individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and parenting services and support. Working with youth and adolescent clients, along with their families, accomplishing therapeutic and daily living goals, as well as developing and maintaining a strong family systems foundation.

Marla’s professional background includes work as a vocational counselor, special education individual assistant, and substitute teacher. Being a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and psychotherapist has by far been her greatest professional accomplishment and joy. Marla is passionate about the work that she does and the relationships that she has gained in working with her clients.
