Samantha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about supporting children, teens, and families through life’s challenges. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Illinois State University and her Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University.
Samantha specializes in trauma treatment and is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), helping clients process and heal from difficult experiences and core beliefs. She also incorporates a variety of other modalities, including Theraplay, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her background in community mental health, child welfare, and crisis intervention has shaped her client-centered, strengths-based approach and allows her to meet clients with flexibility and care in many different seasons of life.
Samantha’s approach is warm, collaborative, and relational, creating a safe space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow. Samantha believes that therapy can be a place to process experiences, uncover unhelpful patterns, learn coping skills, and even have a little fun along the way.
