Sean is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Western Illinois University. He then earned his master’s degree in Counseling from National Louis University.
Sean has over 17 years of experience working in community mental health services including residential, outpatient and crisis intervention services. For the past several years Sean has worked primarily with children, adolescents and young adults, families and couples.
Sean utilizes an integrated approach that is both client centered and family oriented is the best way to meet the mental health needs of the client. He believes that by involving the family, the individual client will have greater chance of success in treatment. Sean uses a variety of techniques Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. His areas of expertise include mood disorders, anxiety, behavior disorders and ADHD.
