Serafin is a Licensed Social Worker who received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Social Work with a specialization in Children and Families from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. He has extensive experience in mental health through his work in both school and in-patient hospitalization settings, supporting a diverse range of clients from age 7 through adulthood in individual, family, and couples therapy.
Serafin specializes in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationships, trauma, suicidality, self-harm, grief and loss, and behavior disorders. He utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strengths-Based approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. His therapeutic style is approachable, conversational, and gently challenging, providing a supportive space for personal growth and transformation.

Serafin’s goal is to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve personal growth.
